travel canada yukon territory around bennet lake

Bennett Lake was a major take-off point for prospectors that made it over White Pass.
Old photos show this large lake crowded with every sort of water craft hoping to carry gold seekers deeper into they Yukon Territory.

While most of the train crowd rested in the station or hiked up to the old town site, I got out my pack rod and tried some fishing... nothing.
However, I was more successful treasure hunting finding several old railroad spikes scattered around the rocks next to the lake.
